The South America Counsellor Workshop in Bogotá takes place on 30 September - 2 October 2026. Return air travel to Bogotá from your country and deluxe hotel accommodation on a twin-shared basis is provided free of charge to all approved counsellors.

All applicants must have completed the THE Counsellor Accreditation Programme (THE CAP) Level 1 before 8 August 2026 to be confirmed for the event. THE CAP can be completed in 12 hours online at your own speed and full details can be found at https://www.timeshighereducation.com/counsellor/the-cap

Hotel accommodation

BMI will provide free hotel accommodation during the event, on a twin-shared basis with another participating counsellor from the same sex, to all approved participants at the hotel in Bogotá where the event will be taking place. If you opt for single-room accommodation, this is available at a supplement. Should you require an extra night before or after the free nights, please send us an email for a quotation.

A credit card will be required by the hotel to allow check-in for your room. The card will not be charged unless you use extra services from the hotel such as room service, laundry, extra nights, extra meals, drinks, etc.

If you decide to cancel your participation for any reason after your air ticket has been issued, you will be required to pay a cancelation fee to cover the air ticket and the cost of the hotel accommodation provided. By completing this form and submitting it in any format to BMI, you confirm you speak English – which is necessary for the seminars and meetings – and accept the event Terms & Conditions below. We will notify you within 14 days if your application has been approved. You also hereby grant permission to the rights of your image, likeness, and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or videotape without payment or any other consideration.
